Collective Entrepreneurship Introduction Coop (CIEC) Ados-Services

The CIEC Ados-Services is a first work experience in collective entrepreneurship, in coop form, for 13-to-17-year-olds in Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie who want to learn how a cooperative business operates.

Through entrepreneurship workshops led by our project coordinators, each participant acquires competencies and abilities useful for future employment.

The CIEC project is made possible by Fonds étudiant II, the major financial partner that funds coordinators’ salaries and training across Québec. It is implemented in collaboration with the Cooperative Entrepreneurship Service of the Québec Council of Cooperation and Mutuality, supported financially by the Secretariat for Youth, the Foundation for Cooperation and Mutuality Education, and the Desjardins Movement.

Youth Entrepreneurship

Thanks to our community partnership, we help young people and secondary-school students and teachers in the neighborhood develop and execute projects that build entrepreneurial qualities and initiative, such as:

The Youth Hub (“Créneau carrefour jeunesse”) is a Secretariat for Youth program deployed in partnership with youth employment centers (CJE). It targets 15-to-35-year-olds and aims to promote academic persistence, personal and social autonomy, and participation in entrepreneurship, volunteering, and community service projects—while encouraging youth presence at decision-making tables.
